Practically a Golf Tournament
If you have joined us year after year for this fun event, please consider donating your financial support as all our fundraising this year has been canceled due to COVID-19. Without your help, we will not be able to have the events that so many count on such as Purple Day®, Family Camp and our holiday party. It is greatly appreciated!
For over 25 years, the Epilepsy Center of Northwest Ohio has hosted the Practically a Golf Tournament (PGT). The event is a competitive, 18-hole miniature golf tournament and for the past 7 years, we’ve set up the event at the Clock Tower of Levis Commons. Each unique hole is designed and built by a local sponsor to represent either their product or service or a local landmark.
Funds raised at the PGT go towards all of our community education and awareness programs that we always offer free. We have a Living With Epilepsy series where professionals speak on topics of interest; Kids On The Block puppet program for 3rd and 4th grade children teaching about epilepsy; and our Family Camp – a weekend of education and fun for individuals affected by epilepsy and their families.
The PGT is an excellent opportunity for people to network while enjoying the game. We have music, 50/50 raffles, food, beverages and other fun things to do. We’re grateful for our corporate sponsors who make the event possible each year.
PGT 2020 has been canceled due to concerns over COVID-19. We look forward to seeing you next year.
